Suvarna Mishri Pan Gulkand is a sweet rose petal preserve made in the traditional sun-cooked way, with mishri (rock sugar) for the classic paan-style taste. Gulkand has been part of Indian homes for generations, enjoyed after meals and in summer drinks and desserts. It comes in 100 g, 250 g and 500 g jars.
Enjoy a spoonful on its own after a meal, fold it into paan, or stir it into cold milk, lassi, shakes and falooda. It also makes a fragrant filling or topping for kulfi, ice cream, laddoos, modak and other sweets. The taste is sweet, floral and fragrant, with the gentle crunch of mishri.
The pack states that it is made with natural ingredients and has no added preservatives. Always use a clean, dry spoon and close the lid tightly after each use. In warm weather the gulkand may become softer, which is natural.
